Francis Kokoroko is on a mission, and at the internationally acclaimed Design Indaba he outlined it simply: “To document life as it goes.” As a practising artist and photojournalist for Reuters, Kokoroko’s work is rooted in the stories of everyday life across the African continent and in his current hometown Accra, Ghana. His raw evocative images cover elections and span the reaches of towns and cities from skate parks in Addis Ababa to the frenetic pace of 24-hour mega cities like Lagos.
