SHARON HORGAN – MERMAN

Sharon Horgan is the co-creator and star of the multi-award-winning Channel 4 comedy series Catastrophe. On June 1 her production company Merman launched a major new branded content and commercials division, to run alongside and “cross-pollinate” its narrative film and TV work. In the UK Merman represents the Superprime roster which includes Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson and David LaChapelle. Merman has also recently signed, Peter Lydon and MJ Delaney to its commercial slate.

CHEYNEY ROBINSON CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER, EMEA AND APAC, ISOBAR

An alumna from Yale University School of Art Graphic Design MFA, Cheyney Robinson has worked as Chief Creative Officer at IBM Interactive Experience Europe. She’s also been a judge for the D&AD and Eurobest, been a speaker on the Cannes Lions Innovation stage, and advised on brands, lectured, and is mentor for the D&AD New Blood Shift. 

DIANA KUNST RSA PHOTOGRAPHIC & BLACK DOG

Photographer and director Diana Kunst was just 19 when her work caught the industry’s eye. Now, less than ten years later, she’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in the fashion world, including Vogue and Gucci. She is currently staging her first solo photography exhibition in Paris. The show runs from June 8 – October 1 at the Superette gallery. She is signed to RSA Photographic & Black Dog.

WEI-TING DUO – CG ARTIST, SMOKE & MIRRORS NEW YORK

With a background in Psychology, CG artist, Wei-Ting Duo, has worked on music videos for the likes of Pink Floyd, and commercials for brands including Trident and Coca-Cola, becoming something of a specialist in creating lifelike CG animals.

CHARNEY MAGRI – DIRECTOR, PHOTOGRAPHER AND FOUNDER OF RISE

After two decades spent shooting some of the fashion industry’s biggest and best – including work with British Vogue, Ralph Lauren and Nick Knight – director and photographer Charney Magri is branching out and launching her new company RISE, which will focus on working with, and developing, ethical businesses.

LUCY TCHERNIAK – DIRECTOR AND SCREENWRITER, RADICALMEDIA AND INDEPENDENT TALENT

London-born, LA-based director and screenwriter Lucy Tcherniak’s career has gone from strength to strength since winning the Smoke & Mirrors 48 Hour Film Competition in 2008 for her short film I Stood Up. She made another short Lay Me Down and has done commercial work for Adidas, Philips and PLAN International. Lucy is currently working on The End of the Fucking World, which will be released on Netflix and E4 later this year.

DEEPA KESHVALA  – CINEMATOGRAPHER

Cinematographer Deepa Keshvala’s do-it-herself approach has landed her collaborations with some of the most promising directors and musicians out there. Represented by API Corp in Paris, she’s made music videos for artists including Ray BLK, Jorja Smith and Dizzee Rascal. Deepa’s own Indian family, and her yearly trips to visit them has also influenced her work, which especially values boldness and energy.

SARAH CLIFT – WRITER AND DIRECTOR, MADREFOCA

Sarah Clift has worked in commercial media as a Creative Director for 18 years, in London and Paris. She recently began writing and directing for film, and La Madre Buena (The Good Mother) is her debut short. 

SIMONA CRISTEA – HEAD OF CREATIVE COLOUR, RUSHES

Simona Cristea is much in-demand by directors including Vicky Lawton, Trevor Robinson and duo Warren Du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones. She won three international awards for her colour grading work last year and has been described by Rankin as his “go-to colourist.” 

KAREN CUNNINGHAM – DIRECTOR, THOMAS THOMAS

Director Karen Cunningham is at the top of her game – directing work for Mattel, UNICEF and Save the Children, as well as boasting a cabinet full of awards.

Born in Buenos Aires, Laura Visco started in advertising when she was 19. Now, she’s the Global Creative Director on Axe, and was responsible for the brand repositioning last year.

With over a decade in the industry, Barcelona-born Animation Director Sandra Clua is something of a creative chameleon. She’s turned her hand to documentary-making, illustration and music videos, without ever restricting herself to a single style.

Recognised early on as one to watch, Director Sara Dunlop has honed her skills in the world of advertising, creating work for everyone from Royal Navy and TfL to Levi’s and Sky. Her short, Dreamlands, was the only UK short film selected at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and went on to win Best Narrative Short at the 2016 Brooklyn Film Festival.
