His most recent campaign is for Hellmann’s Mayonnaise and its associated international products, aimed at showing the wholesomeness of its ingredients and the pleasure of those, across the world, who eat it.

TOBY TOMKINS - CHEAT

Colourist and founder at Cheat, Toby Tomkins, prefers to grade films naturally, remaining within a visual framework that refers back to photography, to avoid becoming unrealistic or losing the connection with the viewer. His recent work includes a post-apocalyptic sci-fi trilogy, and a thriller set on a London council estate, as well as adverts for Amstel and Audi.

SILENT - FRIENDS ELECTRIC

Silent is Nathan Prince and Liam Paton - the director and composer duo who “make meaningful moments for screen, surroundings and experiences.” Represented by Friends Electric, they operate on the cutting edge of immersive media, and have created seminal projects with brands including Google, Burberry, Adidas and Nike, as well as directing headline shows for Kasabian and Biffy Clyro.

Director Steve Cope was born in Nottingham and grew up in Romford, Essex. He studied graphic design in London and created Radio 2’s iconic multiple award-winning Elvis advert for the BBC. His recent film for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) features smokers lip-syncing to Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive.

Ex-advertising creative Ben Jones has been directing for 12 years and has worked with some of the biggest names and brands including Adidas, Puma, Samsung, Barclays and Coca Cola across multiple genres, from high-end post production TV commercials to documentary and content. Jones’ background as a writer means he is just as happy writing and directing for agencies and clients as he is bringing to life other people’s scripts.

The illustrator, director and Friends Electric new signing, has built an enviable client list ranging from Fifa to Lovebox Festival, Adidas to Asics, Microsoft to Marmite. His latest piece for Parklife Festival 2017, with illustrations by Guy Field and slick Studio Moross production, encapsulates the the kaleidoscopic and playful stamp Baker marks on all his work perfectly.

“I like things to breathe,” says Ellie Johnson, editor at Soho-based collective Speade. “I like to make things feel like they connect naturally and you don’t sense the hands of the people behind the scenes shaping it.” Johnson’s recent work includes commercials for Volvo, House of Fraser and music videos for Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd.
