I am Kenisha (her) and Sherry Collins (her / us), Jamaican Freedom Fighter, and Founder, Editor, Writer, and Creative Innovator of The Pitch Fanzine.

The Pitch Fanzine is a movement, media brand, and industry leader in the creative industries.

The inclusive platform was founded in 2015 to challenge inequality, discrimination, and the lack of diversity in the advertising creative industry, while showcasing outstanding creative talent.

The Pitch Fanzine has grown to include Pitch Magazine, Pitch TV, Pitch Conversations, campaigns, initiatives, education programmes, and creative consultancy.

Members include investors, global brand leaders, brand founders, marketers, agency executives, creatives, strategists, directors, photographers, producers, editors, sound designers, graphic designers, art directors, copywriters, activists, influencers, makers, creators, award bodies, industry bodies, and other industry media.

Our audience is following my journey as I am creating The Pitch Fanzine platform, a new media with integrity at the heart of it.

On Wednesdays at 2:30pm GMT I share my journey creating The Pitch Fanzine movement, Free Jamaica and free the world, in my newsletter to our audience, on The Pitch Fanzine platform, and our socials.

The Pitch Fanzine’s newsletters open rate is 50% weekly and is read and shared across the creative industries.

I enjoy meeting new people and supporting them on their career journeys.

I keep my Thursdays free to talk with creative talent and share insights on our industry.

I am my authentic self.

I am a Jamaican living in London who lived briefly in America during my early years.

My story, Life Lessons Learned, is about my childhood growing up in Saint Ann, Jamaica, age 6-13, and my time in Adland years later.

I can speak in five different accents and dialects.

At age 13, after leaving the island of my birth, I decided to learn how the world works.

How societies are created.

Over the past 30 years, I set out my real mission to find inclusive super creative people who would return home with me to uplift, inspire, and share knowledge with the Jamaican people, the Caribbean, and the world, creatively.

And save the planet.

Please read how I found my super people.

Each year, I invite and champion 100 Super People who are doing good for the world through their creative work and initiatives.

Super People are celebrated and promoted on The Pitch Fanzine platform, in our newsletters, and on our socials.

Please visit The Pitch Fanzine’s Instagram page to see some of our Pitch Super People covers and read why they are super.

In May, we will celebrate Pitch Super People of Jamaica at the Pitch Knowledge and Learning Creative Summit in Negril, Jamaica.

Please read my bio to learn more about The Pitch Fanzine’s initiatives and campaigns.

Please read What is oppression? to learn how I navigated the advertising creative industry to get where I am today.

Please read The Pitch Fanzine’s Vision to learn more about our plans for the next ten years.

The Pitch Fanzine will connect communities from around the world with Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean through creative projects, initiatives, Pitch magazine, and Pitch TV.

New talent entering the creative industries will be offered the opportunity to learn about our world and collaborate together.

We will look to partner brands doing good with Pitch Mavericks of Jamaica, Pitch Cool Brands of Jamaica, Pitch Futures projects, and moving-image projects for Pitch TV.

In September, we will publish Pitch Creative Talent, sharing the stories of creative people in The Pitch Fanzine’s inclusive super creative network who are creating work to save the planet.

This year, we will commission the first 10-year documentary series for Pitch TVPitch Music Legends of Jamaica, sharing the stories of Jamaica’s music legends and the good they do for Jamaica and the Jamaican people.

The first 30-minute documentary in the series will be created in collaboration with talent in Jamaica and our inclusive super creative network.

In November, the documentary will be premiered at the Pitch Knowledge and Learning Music and Film Summit in Negril, Jamaica, on Pitch TV, and with our mass media partners.

The Pitch Fanzine has opened a bridge for Jamaicans to collaborate with the creative industries around the world while living in Jamaica.

The Pitch Fanzine will promote and showcase our partners and talent in Pitch Magazine, on Pitch TV, socials, platform, and in our newsletters.

Jamaica, we are here.

We are in a knowledge-sharing revolution.

Time, to create our new futures.

Best wishes,
