"Red Miss."

In Jamaica, up country, our Grade 4 school teacher loved to ask us about our favourite colour.

She would say, “What’s your favourite colour?”, and we would take it in turns to stand up and tell her.

“Red Miss.”

“Blue Miss.”

“Red Miss.”

“Blue Miss.”

“Red Miss.”

“Blue Miss.”

“Sherry-Ann Collins, what is your favourite colour?”

“Yellow Miss.”

“Red Miss.”

“Blue Miss.”

“Green Miss.”

“Red Miss.”

Yellow is my favourite colour, but I use a red full stop in my work for the girls who said, “Red Miss.”

It’s time to end sexual violence against children.

Sexual education is a human right, and every leader of every country in the world should be held accountable if they do not educate their people about their bodies.

All children, teachers, parents, grandparents, everyone, should be educated on their sexual health.

How to do this?

What do we need?

Let’s have a think on it.

Best wishes,
