Pitch Amazing Jamaicans, A New Chapter.

Travel.

And save the planet.

Over the past weeks, The Pitch Fanzine has celebrated a remarkable group of Amazing Jamaicans whose lives, work, and leadership represent the very best of who we are: visionaries, builders, changemakers, and people who use their gifts not simply for personal success but to uplift others.

Latoya Johnson Panton, whose work in food, sustainability, and community healing reconnects us to land, health, and self-reliance.

Ingrid Riley, a pioneer who has helped shape the Caribbean’s technology ecosystem.

Stephen Josephs, whose humanitarian leadership reminds us that service is power.

Andrea Dempster Chung, developing Kingston’s creative and cultural future.

Carlinton Burrell, helping position Jamaica within climate innovation and future industries.

Dr. Trisha Bailey, whose extraordinary journey speaks of resilience, ambition, and purpose.

Storm Saulter, whose filmmaking has redefined Jamaican storytelling on the world stage.

Usain Bolt, whose greatness transcends sport and continues to shine a powerful global light on Jamaica.

Together, they tell one story: Jamaica is rich in brilliance. Not only in talent, but in wisdom, leadership, humanity, and possibility.

The Pitch Amazing Jamaicans campaign is to create a new foundation and open doors to collaboration among leaders, creatives, young people, investors, educators, and brands who believe Jamaica can become a global force not only in athletics and music, but also in film, technology, wellness, sustainability, education, and creative enterprise.

And to inspire through Pitch Futures, so that the next generation will grow up seeing living examples of what Jamaican excellence looks like, not as unreachable icons, but as people whose journeys can inspire their own.

This matters deeply as representation shapes belief, ambition and nations.

Pitch Amazing Jamaicans is not simply about celebrating success.

It is about building a mirror for Jamaica, so our people can see themselves more clearly, recognise their greatness, and understand what is possible when we collaborate, support one another, and think bigger.

This is only the beginning; a new Jamaica is waiting to be built, and stories will help build it.

The Pitch Fanzine is here to tell those stories and shape a new chapter.

We are in a knowledge-sharing evolution, creating a new world.
