We all have the power to make change
Some people are born to fit in, be part of the crowd
But you, my friend, were born to stand out
You were born to make change
Yes, you were, to make the world a better place
If we were all the same, what a boring place it would be
But because we are all different and unique
We have the power to make change
There are followers, but you are a leader
Take your place as a leader
Take your place to make change
Take your place in this world
And take your place, to make the world a better place
You need to stand up if you don’t like something
To make change, you can’t be quiet; you need your voice
Stand up, tell them what’s on your mind
To make change, and make the world a better place
We call the young, take your place
We call the elders, take your place
We call everyone, take your place
And change this world for the better
It doesn’t matter what your religion is
It doesn’t matter what your race is
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from
We all have the power to make change
Sometimes it might be people telling you “No”
But don’t listen to them because if it wasn’t for people
Such as the poets, the activists, the change makers
What would our world look like?
We are all one race, human
So, take your place
It doesn’t matter who you are
It doesn’t matter what you’re doing
Stand up. Stand out. Stand proud
And make the world a better place
